Two nominations for Czech Architecture Prize

Two nominations were won by AED project projects in the most prestigious Czech architectural awards: Rezidence Pacnherova (A.LT architects) and Manifesto Smíchov (Chybík + Krištof).

The nominations were announced at the Nomination Evening of the 5th Czech Architecture Prize. Among the constructions selected by the international jury, one third of the works are investments from public sources (10) and two thirds private (17).

The work of architects will be further evaluated by seven erudite foreign experts. The jury is led by landscape architect, urban planner and academician Henri Bava (France), co-founder of the Agence Ter studio operating in Paris, Karlsruhe, Shanghai and Los Angeles. Other members are: architect Alessandra Cianchetta (Great Britain), architect Jeanne Dekkers (Netherlands), architect and theorist Gillian Horn (Great Britain), architect Csaba Nagy (Hungary), architect Štefan Polakovič (Slovakia) and architect Jeroen van Schooten (Netherlands).

The name of the winner of the Grand Prize and other finalists will be announced on November 24, 2020 at the gala evening in the Karlín Forum.
