Mies van der Rohe Award for Triplex?

Triplex apartment house in Carlsbad, built according to the architects of the A69 was nominated for the Prize Mies van der Rohe - European Prize for Architecture. For the first time in history the building has not been nominated by the Czech members of the jury, but by the architect Georgi Stanishev, partner of Bulgarian Office of Foster & Partners.

Mies van der Rohe Award - European Union Prize for Architecture is awarded every two years for the best contemporary architecture in Europe. Candidates for the Award are put forward by a broad group of independent experts from all over Europe, as well as from the architects' associations that form part of the European Council of Architects and other European national architects' associations. At each two-yearly edition, the jury selects two works: one that receives the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture in recognition of its conceptual, technical and constructional qualities, and the other that receives the Emerging Architect Special Mention. The jury also selects a set of finalist works to be included in both the Award catalogue and exhibition. Competition is organized by the Foundation Mies van der Rohe based in Barcelona.
